Dalian Medical University

Dalian Medical University (DMU) was founded in 1947, located at the north of Xinghai Park and facing the sea, the body of which is Guandong Medical College. In 1994, it was named as Dalian Medical University. Nowdays, with more attention paid to the study of the medicine, DMU has established a multidisciplinary of literauture, science, management and law ect.

Dalian Medical University covers an area of 1,510,000 square meters and buliding area of 380,000 square meters. There are more than 4,000 teaching staff and medical care personnel, among whom 580 have full high titles, 660 have associate high titles and 580 are advisors for Master´s and Doctor´s candidates. Now the school has 2,200 Master and Doctor degree candidates, 6,700 undergraduates and junior college students, and over 900 foreign students.
